Working model · candidate

One person, working with agents.

The point is not that one person becomes a team. It is that one person can keep a coherent line of judgment while machines carry work that once fragmented across many hands.

Human frame. Human consequential commit. Machine-scale execution inside the grant.

The actual idea

Continuity of judgment.

AI changes the amount of execution one person can carry. It does not remove the need for attention, comprehension, evidence, judgment or responsibility. Those become more important as execution becomes abundant.

My working model joins one deep human tunnel to an accumulated, inspectable substrate and a field of agents. The agents provide breadth and continuation. The human retains the frame, the meaning and the consequential commit.

That does not mean a person chooses every micro-action. The human establishes the frame and grant; agents settle ordinary instances inside them. When a new consequential choice appears, authority returns to the appropriate human.

The leverage is not superhumanity. It is continuity of judgment under machine-scale execution.

The working system

Three capacities

01

Deep human attention

I work best when there is one real object worth understanding all the way down. The value is not generic strategic cleverness. It is sustained contact with the actual problem until its structure becomes visible.

02

Accumulated context

I do not begin every problem from an empty chat. Sources, previous decisions, working systems and unresolved questions remain available, with enough provenance to distinguish what happened from what a machine later inferred.

03

Agent-scale execution

Machines can search, compare, draft, code, test and document in parallel. That expands reach. It does not decide what matters, what the evidence earns or which consequence becomes attributable to a person.

The boundary

What remains human

The machine may propose the problem, plan, language and implementation. The appropriate human must still choose the governing frame, understand the operative boundary and own the last unsettled consequential choice.

This is not constant supervision. A useful agent needs room to execute ordinary instances inside a real grant. When a new receiver, promise, risk or meaning appears, authority returns to the human.

The sequence

How the work moves

The sequence is stable. The timeline is not. An honest deadline comes from the object, evidence, dependencies and risk—not from a marketing template.

  1. 01

    Name the real object

What needs to exist in reality? Who must be able to receive or use it? What tempting adjacent work is explicitly outside the boundary?

Result: A bounded object and a real receiver—not a promise of transformation.

  2. 02

    Establish the floor

Inspect the code, records, data, people and constraints already present. Separate observation from interpretation. Mark what is missing instead of filling the gap with confidence.

Result: A shared account of what is known, inferred and still unresolved.

  3. 03

    Set the frame and grant

The appropriate human chooses the purpose, boundaries, receivers, risks and consequential decisions. Agents receive only the authority needed to carry the agreed work.

Result: Machine freedom inside a comprehensible human mandate.

  4. 04

    Cut one working slice

Build the smallest real artifact that can meet the world: a functioning path, resolved example, usable interface, tested migration or cited argument. A deck about future capability is not the slice.

Result: Something that can be used, inspected or broken.

  5. 05

    Let reality answer

Put the slice under the force that matters: tests, production data, a real user, an adversarial case or the intended receiver. Strengthen, narrow or abandon the claim according to what happens.

Result: Evidence replaces performance; the next scope is earned.

  6. 06

    Return ownership

Preserve receipts, decisions, source material, documentation and a usable continuation path. The work should increase the other person's control rather than manufacture dependence on me or my machines.

Result: A working result, an honest record and a practical way forward without me.

Conditions

Where it fits—and where it does not

Good conditions

  • There is a real object, system or decision—not only a desire to sound innovative.
  • The relevant evidence and people can be brought into contact with the work.
  • A small working slice can test the central belief before the scope expands.
  • Someone with legitimate authority can choose the frame and own the commit.
  • The intended result leaves its receiver with more understanding and control.

Wrong conditions

  • The answer has already been chosen and the work is expected to justify it.
  • A presentation is being used to avoid contact with the underlying system.
  • Nobody can inspect the sources needed to evaluate the consequential claims.
  • The machine is expected to decide human meaning, consent or responsibility.
  • The promise depends on a guaranteed timeline or result before the object is understood.

Scope discipline

Proof before expansion

The old version of this page promised a free proof of value, a five-day result and transformation in weeks. Those may be possible in a particular case. They are not honest universal promises.

The durable principle is smaller: begin with a slice bounded enough that both people can see whether the central belief survives contact with reality. Price, time, access, risk and responsibility belong inside the specific grant. They should never be smuggled in through a generic offer.

Negative space

What this does not claim

  • That one person replaces every team or legitimate human role.
  • That I can identify the real bottleneck immediately or without access to evidence.
  • That every problem can be solved in days, or that every first slice should be free.
  • That machine volume proves quality, originality or practical value.
  • That a working artifact in one context guarantees transformation in another.

Bring one hard, bounded object.

Describe what must become true, what evidence already exists, who needs the result and which decisions must remain human. The first honest answer may be a working slice, a narrower question or no.
