This is Mordechai's central thesis. The idea that changed how he sees every AI product, every human-computer interaction, every piece of technology. It's three sentences: AI capability is no longer the constraint. Human understanding is. And that constraint isn't a bug — it's the feature that keeps humans sovereign.
The Shift
Somewhere between GPT-3.5 and Claude 3, something changed. Before that inflection point, AI often couldn't deliver what you needed. After it, AI could deliver more than humans could absorb. The bottleneck flipped.

The Formula
It boils down to a minimum function:
• AI Capability → Unlimited (post GPT-3.5)
• Human Reception → Limited (always)

Expanding AI capability past human comprehension adds zero value. The only lever that matters is human understanding. This reframes the entire AI industry from 'build smarter AI' to 'build better bridges.'
The Amplifier
“The bottleneck is the amplifier. A person, especially when they deal with software and AI, their understanding of the situation is the limiter AND the amplifier. AI has to amplify them. But their bottleneck is how AI can teach them.”
This is the insight most people miss. The bottleneck isn't a problem to eliminate — it's the mechanism that creates value. Human understanding simultaneously limits output AND amplifies it. No understanding = no sovereignty. The limiter IS the amplifier. They're the same thing viewed from different angles.
The SHELET Framework
Mordechai formalized this into SHELET (שלט — Hebrew for control/dominion/mastery):
1. CAPTURE (∞ → 10⁶) — Physical → Digital
2. COMPRESS (10⁶ → 10³) — Digital → Intelligence
3. CHOOSE (10³ → 1) — Intelligence → Action. Human decides.
4. EXECUTE (1 → ∞) — Action → Reality. AI acts with audit trail.
The human bottleneck isn't eliminated — it's amplified. 100% human agency preserved.
Human Sovereignty — Always

'Human in the loop' frames humans as obstacles to automation. Mordechai flips it: AI in the loop, human as sovereign. The industry says 'how do we make AI more autonomous?' Mordechai says 'how do we make humans more capable?'
Industry Validation
“In the agentic organization, humans steer AI rather than being replaced by it.”
The thesis that seemed contrarian in 2023 became mainstream by late 2025. In February 2026, three major players — Elon Musk/xAI, OpenAI, and Anthropic — independently built systems mapping to the SHELET compression stack without naming it. Mordechai articulated the unified framework ~6 months before industry converged on its components.
